Everybody gathered at the bus stand at 5 a.m, and we took a breakfast at Solan.
Indian Institute of Advanced Study
We visited The Indian Institute of Advanced Study is a research institute first which is based in Shimla, India. It was set up by the Ministry of Education, Government of India in 1964 and it started functioning from 20 October 1965.Many historic decisions have been taken in the building during the Indian independence movement. Indian Institute of Advanced Study is also known as 'Rashtrapati Nivas'. The interiors and grand staircase is the major attraction to visit in IIAS Shimla.
It was converted into a research center for Indian culture, religion, humanities and social and natural sciences.
The Mall Road Shimla
After lunch we went to The Mall Road is the main street in Shimla. It’s the center of all activity. We enjoyed the scenery around us very much. People can walk up and down the Mall road slowly and enjoy the scenic views of nature. Many of people gather at the Ridge and Scandal point on Mall road to meet and talk with friends, see the views of the Himalayan range and to do some shopping. The Mall road connected to the Ridge raod where is the Scandal point, and a statue of the Lala Lajpat Rai has been erected who was nationalist leader.
We also enjoyed an evening in the Bazaar. We enjoyed the natural scenery and high mountains. We took many pictures and Our trip to Shimla was an unforgettable experience. The sweet memory of the shimla is still fresh in our mind. We wish we would visit this wonderful Hill once again.
